Position: Backend Developer

Our team is on the hunt for a business value-focused, creative problem solver to design, develop, and maintain our backend/cloud environment within the wildlife management domain. If you’re someone who thrives in team environments yet isn’t shy to take the reins on new projects, this might be the role for you.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years in backend development, 3 of which should be with Java.

  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.

  • Frontend experience (nice to have).

  • GCP experience (a plus).

  • Fluent in Swedish.

  • While experience is key, we also value a shared passion for wildlife, given our company’s focus on wildlife management tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate in the development of new features and participate in scoping and defining them.

  • Integrate with external services/partners and maintain those integrations.

  • Handle maintenance tasks including bug fixing and log monitoring among other routine tasks.

  • Lead feature development, ensuring apps and tools are updated in line with changes.

  • Contribute innovative ideas for product and app enhancements.
